The Air65 II frame is the result of two years of evolution and close collaboration with pilots around the world. Weighing just 2.65g, it not only maintains its ultra-lightweight title, but also offers radically updated geometry. The design team has redesigned the beams and guard rings to squeeze maximum performance out of the 65mm woop.

Key improvements and innovations

Optimized traction and aerodynamics

The number of arm braces has been reduced from 6 to 4. Combined with the updated date geometry, this has resulted in a 5% increase in net thrust. Now the drone responds instantly to throttle, which is critical for professional racing.

Stability and PID feedback

Thanks to the changed structure of the connecting elements, it was possible to significantly reduce the amplitude of frame vibrations. Combined with the Feedforward setting, this results in near-perfect PID response with less than 12ms latency, ensuring very precise and smooth control.

Defense and Stamina

Material: Optimized PP mixture absorbs the energy of hard impacts on concrete or trees.

Screw Protection: For the first time, a protection structure has been added for motor screw heads, preventing them from being damaged during drops.

Motor Slots: Retains locking system for perfect shaft alignment.

Comparison with the first generation Air65

The Air65 II frame has become even more advanced: with almost identical weight (2.65 g versus 2.67 g), the diameter of the dates has increased to 33 mm, and their height has been reduced to 3.8 mm. This not only improves aerodynamics, but also allows the use of motors with shorter shafts, keeping the overall profile of the drone as low as possible.
