BetaFPV 0802 Brushless Motors (2026)

This new generation of motors is specifically designed for the flagship Air75 II whoop. The main technological advantage is the use of an industry-first 0.10 mm stator lamination thickness. This minimizes magnetic losses, allowing the motors to run cooler and deliver an efficiency boost of 0.1–0.2 g/W compared to standard versions.

Three Versions for Different Tasks

Champion (28000KV)

Purpose: Professional racing requiring maximum power.

Power Output: Up to 34.3W (max current 9A).

Bearings: Dual-ball bearings for maximum reliability under extreme loads.

Weight: 1.95 g.

Racing (25000KV)

Purpose: Technical racing and aggressive maneuvering.

Power Output: Up to 31.15W (max current 8.15A).

Bushings: Brass bushings for an optimal balance of weight and durability.

Weight: 1.88 g.

Freestyle (22000KV)

Purpose: Smooth flights, extended flight times, and cinematic control.

Power Output: Up to 22.73W (max current 5.90A).

Feature: Exceptional low-end torque and superior power efficiency.

Weight: 1.88 g.

Technical Features & Reliability

Crash Resistance: Upgraded rotor bell and reinforced shaft design are built to withstand hard impacts, which is critical for indoor flying.

Shaft Geometry: 1.0 mm diameter with an extended 4.0 mm protruding length for secure 40 mm propeller mounting.

Mounting: Standard 3-hole M1.4 mounting pattern on a 6.6 mm diameter circle.

Connection: JST1.25 3-pin connector; 30AWG wire with 35 mm length.

Advantage of the Innovative Stator

Thanks to thinner stator laminations (0.10 mm vs. standard 0.15 mm), the 0802 motors convert electrical energy into mechanical power much more efficiently. This provides a noticeable boost in thrust at the same battery consumption, allowing for longer and more dynamic flights.
