The Air65 frame is an evolution of the popular Meteor65 series, designed specifically for ultralight (Sub18g) frame enthusiasts. Weighing just 2.67g, it is one of the lightest on the market while maintaining high strength and rigidity. The low-profile design allows for a highly concentrated center of gravity, making the drone's flight more stable and controllable.

Key Features and Innovations

Updated Geometry and Protection (Ducts)

The diameter of the protective rings has been increased to 34.9 mm (compared to 34 mm for Meteor65). This minimizes the risk of propellers hitting the frame and improves compatibility with 0702 and 0802 series motors and standard 31mm propellers. The guard height has been reduced to 14.5mm to create a low profile.

Fixing slots for motors

The Air65 is the first 65mm frame to feature special motor mounting slots. This guarantees perfect shaft alignment, reduces mechanical stress during assembly and prevents the motor from moving due to strong impacts.

Motor Gaskets

The kit includes special spacers 1.2 mm high. They perform several functions at once:

Allows the use of engines of different brands by adjusting the propeller landing height.

Absorbs vibrations and reduces noise levels.

Protect the motor stator from dust and small debris.

Comparison with Meteor65

The frame has become 0.47 g lighter, which is critical for 1S systems. Thanks to the increased diameter of the rings and lower profile, the drone feels much more “collected” and maneuverable in the air. At the same time, reliability and ability to withstand falls remained at the same high level.
