The GEP-KX5 was designed to be robust, elegant, and refined. That's why it's called "Elegant."
The "Elegant" design utilizes the center of the battery as the balance point, placing the entire battery's weight in the center. This design is convenient for turning, as it fits comfortably in the hand. It's also easy to draw. Furthermore, this design ensures even distribution of power and power to the four motors; it reduces motor heat output while improving battery efficiency. Thanks to its long wheelbase (243 mm), TrueX design, and wide wheel ratio, the Freestyle can move flexibly, reducing the airflow disturbance created by each propeller. This allows it to fly more stably and freely.
In terms of materials, the carbon fiber board is crafted from 3K pure carbon fireproof boards and features a one-of-a-kind, high-precision CNC machined arm. The camera and dash cam base is precision-machined from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum (type: 7075). Thanks to the fine bonding with the carbon fiber board, the new design is 50% more rigid than a traditional one, ensuring the device is less susceptible to impact and damage, giving pilots peace of mind. The entire "Elegant" weighs only 115g.
For electronics, the Elegant is equipped with an LED rear light panel (including a CF/BF-compatible buzzer) and a PDB distribution board as standard. A BEC (5/12V output) and XT60 integration make installation easier for the operator. The "Elegant" uses YFS screws, making it rust-resistant, and its 12.9-grade strength meets all requirements. We've now spent almost a month testing the "Elegant," and it's definitely a good choice for freestyle or racing builds.

The battery is located above the arm, which is designed to be symmetrical. The center is positioned in the middle of the entire machine. During flight, the pilot has good hand feel. The motor power is more balanced and highly efficient; the design reduces the risk of battery damage in a crash.
The camera and dash cam use aircraft-grade #7075 aluminum alloy, precision-machined (CNC), making the entire machine beautiful and durable.
The one-of-a-kind, precision-machined CNC bracket is crafted from 3K pure carbon fiber plates, with a simple yet strong structure. The bracket is fairly narrow (14 mm), reducing wind resistance.
The front and rear sections are supported by aluminum parts, while the side board is connected to the aluminum parts, creating a strong and reliable structure. This design also effectively protects the electronics inside the machine. The LED rear panel is mounted on a square aluminum stand, which also houses a buzzer for finding the machine. This makes it both practical and attractive.
The True X's design makes it suitable for competition and freestyle use.
Its six 2812 taillights and a BB horn are included. The lights glow cool during flight, and the horn makes it easy to find.
The motor stand features a special design that protects the motor in a crash. Motor wire holes are provided for easier and more convenient wiring; the motor wires are tightly nested against the bottom of the bracket, which doesn't negatively affect the appearance but better protects the motor and ESC (electronic speed controller) wires.
The 2mm thick backplate ensures excellent flight control and protects components from damage during crashes and landings.
YFS propellers (strength: grade 12.9) provide good rigidity.
One PDB power distribution board with BEC (5/12V output) is available that integrates with the XT60.
