Sony VTC6 cells are highly safe and powerful. To ensure the safety of your hardware and avoid permanent damage to the cells, it is critical to manage your discharge voltage carefully. While these cells can technically handle lower cut-offs, it is strongly recommended not to drop the discharge voltage below 2.0V per cell during operation, with a standard hardware cut-off set at 2.5V per cell. The full charge voltage for each cell is 4.2V, allowing you to use either LiPo or Li-Ion charging profiles on your smart balance charger. Thanks to its high energy density, this battery meets all the core requirements for long-range cruising and heavy-duty performance.
