BetaFPV ELRS Micro RF 1W module

The BETAFPV Micro RF TX module is based on the ExpressLRS project — an open-source RC link for radio control applications. ExpressLRS aims to achieve peak link performance in terms of speed, low latency, and range, making it one of the fastest RC links available while maintaining long-range capability.

ELRS 2.4G 1W Version

A black version with a maximum output power of 1W has been released. It features full support for 5D button navigation running on BETAFPV ELRS V2.0.0 firmware. A new Backpack feature has been added, enabling wireless communication between ExpressLRS and other FPV devices for control, monitoring, and configuration requests.

Note: Please ensure that your video receiver (VRX) also supports the Backpack feature when using the VRX-backpack function. The Backpack feature will be added to the 500mW version in future updates.

Compared to the 500mW versions, this module integrates both a cooling fan and an aluminum heatsink, significantly improving heat dissipation. This allows the module to operate reliably in daily high-power use without overheating.

Limited Edition 1W

In addition to the standard Micro TX housing, a limited-edition variant is available. Both standard and limited versions share identical internal hardware and functionality. The limited version features a custom 3D-printed housing with a distinctive exterior design that glows when the LED indicator blinks. Stock is strictly limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Critical Operating Notes

Antenna Setup: Always install the antenna before powering on the module. Operating without an antenna will permanently damage the PA (power amplifier) chip.

Voltage Limit: DO NOT use a 3S or higher battery to power the TX module via the XT30 port. Doing so will burn out the power supply IC inside the module.

DIP Switches: Do not turn on all DIP switches simultaneously. Refer to the manual diagram for correct DIP switch positions according to your operating setup.
