Walksnail Ascent Lite Kit Video Transmitter

The Walksnail Ascent Lite Kit digital FPV kit from CaddxFPV is an affordable and ultra-lightweight solution for switching to digital HD video. The kit is designed specifically for small builds (UAVs, micro-drones) and DIY projects.

Important note regarding compatibility:

This kit belongs to the separate Ascent digital line and is NOT compatible with Walksnail Avatar goggles (such as the Goggles X or Goggles L). Currently, it works exclusively with Ascent Goggles.

Key Features

Resolution and Quality: Transmits crisp 1080p video at 60 frames per second or high-speed 720p at 100 frames per second. The camera sensor is 1/2.8 inches.

Ultra-lightweight: The video transmitter (VTX) itself weighs only 6 grams (without the antenna), which helps minimize the drone’s weight and increase its maneuverability.

Energy efficiency: It consumes 30% less energy than comparable models, allowing the drone to stay airborne longer.

Low latency: Signal latency is approximately 35 ms, ensuring precise and realistic real-time control.

Operating Range: Stable signal transmission up to 3 km (ideal for short- and medium-range flights).

Field of View (FOV): A 16:9 widescreen image with a 147° field of view for complete control of the surrounding area.

Power and Frequencies: Operates in the 5.730–5.815 GHz range across 3 channels. Supports frequency hopping and power adjustment from 25 mW to 100 mW.

Wide Power Supply Range: Operates on voltages ranging from 3V to 12.6V.

Compatibility: Easily connects via a 4-pin UART interface to F4/F7/H7 flight controllers and supports Betaflight, INAV, ArduPilot, Fettec, and Kiss firmware. Supports OSD output (Canvas mode).

Mounting holes: The transmitter has a standard 25x25 mm mounting pattern. Camera dimensions: 12x14x15 mm.
