Operational Instructions

Interface Setup: Connect the heavy-duty AC power line to a wall outlet or bridge the DC input terminals to a stable field battery. Power on the charger module to illuminate the text-based 1602 LCD terminal.

Battery Orientation: Hook up the flight battery pack to the primary 4mm banana output terminal sockets, observing strict color-coded polarity. Concurrently plug the white multi-pin JST-XH lead into the dedicated side balance port block.

Configuration Profile Selection: Navigate the scOS system menus to set the battery chemistry, matching cell count, target cutoff threshold, and appropriate current limits.

Execution & Disconnection: Initialize the charge cycle. The 1602 text display will showcase real-time telemetry variables. Once capacity target triggers terminate the pipeline, promptly disconnect the battery from the output grid.

Notes

Balance Lead Mandatory Policy: When charging any multi-cell lithium pack (2S through 6S), you must connect both the primary high-current lead via the 4mm banana adapter and the corresponding JST-XH balance board socket simultaneously. Attempting to charge multi-cell series lines without individual channel balance telemetry bypasses critical safety overrides and can cause severe cell over-voltage, localized battery expansion, or thermal hazards.

Proper Chemistry Selection Target: Always verify that the selected chemistry profile on the digital menu strictly matches the physical battery type connected. Charging a standard 4.20V LiPo pack under the elevated 4.35V LiHV profile will cause immediate cell degradation and poses a severe fire hazard.

Storage Safety Practices: Store the system completely powered down and disconnected from batteries in an isolated environment away from direct exposure to moisture, excessive heat sources, volatile materials, or explosive vapors. The recommended ambient thermal window for long-term standby storage is -10°C to +30°C.
