Antenna (Switch array) GEPRC with triple power 5.8G

The Triple Feed Patch Array antenna is a directional circularly polarized antenna based on the original Triple Feed Patch design. It utilizes an array of seven interconnected patch elements, which provides a significantly higher gain. Because the beamwidth is quite narrow, this antenna is not recommended for general FPV flying, but it performs exceptionally well for long-range flights.

Features

Good radiation efficiency. Most FR4-based patches suffer from high losses at 5.8 GHz. Furthermore, most antenna arrays introduce large losses in the feed network. This design uses coupling patches to simplify the feed network and reduce these losses.

Very good axial ratio, not only directly perpendicular to the radiation pattern but also off-center.

High gain, though not exceeding the theoretical maximum for a 7-element array. This is because maximizing gain typically results in high side lobes and a poor axial ratio.

Very low side lobes, with almost all the energy concentrated within the main lobe. This increases the width of the main lobe while maintaining high gain performance.
