Parallel Circuit Grouping Rule: While this charger uniquely allows up to four batteries to plug into a single numbered channel lane simultaneously, note that the four ports within that specific numerical group (1 through 6) operate on a shared parallel circuit. Therefore, you must only connect batteries of identical capacity, chemistry, and similar discharge states (voltage levels) into the same channel cluster at the same time. Connecting a depleted cell alongside a fully charged cell into the same channel group will cause rapid, un-regulated cross-cell discharging, leading to cell swelling, degradation, or localized thermal hazards.
Ammperage Allocation per Pack: The adjustable current selection button modifies the total current output for that entire channel group. If you set a channel to 1.0A and plug four 1S batteries into that specific channel group simultaneously, the 1.0A current will split across the packs, supplying roughly 250mA to each individual battery. Adjust your current settings according to the number of cells connected per lane to ensure proper C-rate scaling.
