Operational Instructions

Strict Chemistry Constraints: The SkyRC eN3 is explicitly engineered for Nickel-based configurations (NiMH/NiCd) only. It lacks the internal cutoff balance parameters and safety software required for lithium-based setups. Never attempt to connect Lithium Polymer (LiPo), High-Voltage Lithium (LiHV), Lithium-Ion (LiIon), or Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe) packs to this charger. Doing so will cause severe over-voltage cell destruction, expansion, and a guaranteed fire hazard.
Amperage Allocation Matching: Always scale your output selection slider to match the physical capacity of the battery under maintenance. Charging small, low-capacity receiver packs (e.g., AA-size NiMH packs) at the maximum 3.0A setting will cause extreme internal heat buildup, structural cell venting, and permanent degradation.
Continuous Supervision Policy: Never leave the charging hardware completely unattended during an active power loop. Always operate the station on a flat, solid, non-flammable, and well-insulated surface far away from carpets, wood, paper, or volatile materials.
